Above all, they identify with ‘brands’. In order to bring the latest high street offerings into hospital environments we look to create an all-inclusive retailing package. This retail package is developed and evolved from discussions with a variety of hospital stakeholders – consumers, dieticians and clients.
Our retail offer in one of our hospitals invariably includes the following:
- High quality branded café offer, either a high street brand such as Costa Coffee or in-house brand like Caffè Liscio or Deli Marche;
- Staff and visitor restaurant: dependent on local markets, but all offer consumers a wide choice of freshly cooked main meals, healthy choices, branded concepts and grab-and-go retail choices;
- Branded convenience store such as Amigo or Outtakes that provides consumers with a convenient grab-and-go food choice supported with a range of convenience items;
- A range of beverage and snack vending machines that offer a 24-hour service, important in a 24/7 environment.
