Richard Cousins
Group Chief Executive
Appointed to the Board in May 2006 and appointed Group Chief Executive in June 2006. He was until December 2005 Chief Executive Officer of BPB plc, having held a number of positions with that company since joining it in 1990. He is a non-executive director of HBOS plc and in 2005/06 held a similar position at P&O plc. His earlier career was with Cadbury Schweppes plc and BTR plc. Richard is a member of the Corporate Responsibility Committee.

Andrew Martin
Group Finance Director
Appointed to the Board in March 2004. He was previously a partner with Arthur Andersen and held senior financial positions with Forte Plc and Granada Group PLC. Following the disposal of the Hotels Division in 2001, Andrew joined First Choice Holidays PLC as Finance Director. He joined Compass Group in 2004. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Andrew is a member of the Corporate Responsibility Committee.

Gary Green
Group Managing Director – USA, Canada and Mexico
Appointed to the Board with effect from January 2007. Joined the Group in 1986 in a senior finance role in the UK Division and became a UK divisional director in 1992. Relocated to the USA in 1994 as Chief Finance Officer of the Group’s North American Division and in 1999 became Chief Executive Officer. Appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Americas in January 2005.

Didier Coutte Didier Coutte
Group Managing Director – France, Japan, Australasia, South & East Asia and India
Didier joined the group in 1998 and was appointed CEO France & Asia Pacific Division in October 2005. His previous experience includes four years in the food manufacturing industry and 12 years in fast moving consumer goods.
Ian El-Mokadem
Group Managing Director – UK & Ireland
Prior to joining Compass in May 2006, Ian was Managing Director of Onetel, the former telecoms division of Centrica.  Ian headed Centrica’s entry into telecoms in 2000 and led the sale of the business to Carphone Warehouse in December 2005.  Ian joined Centrica in 1997, holding a number of senior positions in British Gas and was Director of Marketing & Strategy prior to moving into telecoms in 2000.  His early career was with Andersen Consulting’s (now Accenture’s) strategy practice.  Ian has a BSc in Economics and Statistics from London University and an MBA from INSEAD in France
Andy Furlong
Group Managing Director – South America, South Africa, ADNH Compass & CAMEA Remote Site businesses
Andy was appointed Group Managing Director in November 2007, having joined Compass in 2004. Previously he was with Deutsche Bank, where he was Global Head of Facilities Management.
Jane Kingston
Group HR Director
Jane joined Compass as Group Human Resources Director on 1st September 2006. She has spent the majority of her career in a range of international HR roles working in the motor, textile and electrical appliance industries before being appointed Group HR Director of BPB plc in 2002.
Miguel Ramis
Group Managing Director – Europe, including Turkey and Russia
Miguel joined the Group in September 1995 having previously managed the inflight catering business of Accor in Spain. Appointed to his current role on 1 July 1999.
Mark White 
General Counsel & Company Secretary
Mark, a qualified solicitor, joined Compass in June 2007. He was previously at Wolseley plc, a world leading distributor and supplier of construction materials and services, where he was Group Company Secretary and Counsel. Prior to that he was Company Secretary at Enterprise Oil plc.
